What we collect, and what we don't.
Short version: we collect what you send us so we can reply to you, and nothing else.
Who we are
Qualia Solutions is a US operations firm and is the controller of the personal information described here. Reach us through the contact form on this site for any privacy question or request.
What we collect
What you send us: your name, work email, company, market, the function you want covered, and any notes you add. If you ask the calculator to email a breakdown, we store that email address with the figures you selected. Completed calculator runs are also logged without any identity attached — role, market, hours, and the computed figures — so we can see which comparisons people find useful. If you apply for a role, we collect what you submit with your application.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To reply to you, to prepare a scope, to assess applications, and to keep a record of the conversation. Where UK/EU law applies, our basis is your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, and our contractual and legal obligations where an engagement follows. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Who can see it
The Qualia team members handling your enquiry, and the providers that run our infrastructure under contract: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Plausible (cookieless analytics). Each is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Our infrastructure is US-hosted, and members of our team work from outside the United States. Where personal information moves across borders, it moves under our processors' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
For as long as the enquiry is live, and then for as long as we have a legitimate business reason or a legal obligation to keep a record. Anonymous calculator logs are kept indefinitely because they cannot be linked back to a person. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it, transport is encrypted, and database rows are protected by row-level access rules. No system is perfect, so we also keep the amount we collect small on purpose.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. Anything stored in your browser is there to keep the site working. Full detail is on our cookie notice.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, ask for a copy in portable form, or object to a particular use — write to us through the contact form and we will action it, normally within 30 days, at no charge. California residents: those rights cover access, deletion, correction, and portability under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. UK/EU residents also have the right to complain to their supervisory authority.
Children
This site is for business use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we delete it if we learn we have.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date below. Material changes will be flagged here rather than made quietly.
