Sales Development Rep Job Description
Tasks:
- Represent the company’s products and services to potential clients
- Lead consumer research to understand how our solutions align with customer needs
- Generate leads and cultivate relationships by engaging warm prospects and identifying new sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, collaborating with executives to move them forward
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance the company’s lead generation strategy
- Leverage CRM tools, cold calling, and email outreach to generate new sales opportunities
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify them as sales leads
- Actively pursue new business opportunities in the market
- Coordinate meetings or calls between prospective clients and senior executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, COO)
Qualifications:
- Sales experience
- Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email
- Proven ability to creatively solve problems and apply strong analytical skills
- Strong ambition and drive to advance within a sales organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
