Live Chat Agent Job Description

Tasks:

  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via live chat.
  • Identify customer needs and assist them in using specific product features effectively.
  • Investigate and report product malfunctions to the appropriate teams.
  • Update internal databases with details about customer issues and valuable discussions.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer complaints and proactively offer assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Live Chat Agent or similar customer service role.
  • Familiarity with the industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using help desk software, knowledge bases, and remote support tools.
  • Understanding of CRM systems and how they operate.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Patience and professionalism when addressing challenging cases.
